What is your background?
I was born in Connecticut, USA, and grew up in Shanghai, China. I’ve been living in the US for the past 10 years now. I studied economics and philosophy at New York University.

There are a lot of English schools in Japan. Why did you decide to work at UI?
I resonated with the school’s value, in particular coexisting with others while being independent.
